Why Work With Me

I am a trial lawyer with a Master of Science in Forensic DNA and Serology from the University of Florida. I have been qualified by courts as an expert in DNA interpretation, and I have tried more than 60 felony jury trials to verdict.

I work with defense attorneys nationwide to review DNA evidence, identify weaknesses in laboratory analysis and statistical interpretation, and translate complex genetic findings into arguments a jury can understand.

Our Journey

Where Law and Forensic Science Meet

Ambeau Forensic DNA Consulting grew out of my work as a criminal trial lawyer who kept encountering DNA evidence that deserved closer scrutiny. I pursued a graduate degree in forensic DNA and serology so I could examine that evidence at the same level as the analysts who produce it.

That combination, courtroom experience paired with formal forensic training, is what I bring to every case, including my work as defense counsel in the Netflix documentary “I Just Killed My Dad.”
